BioI'm a forty-something mother of two, living in the south-west of England. I homework part-time as a software developer on database systems with some support and maintenance work on antique legacy software thrown in for good measure.
I used to have hobbies, BK (before kids) including archaeology and hill-walking. Nowadays my life consists of work, kids, internet, kids, housework, kids. My music is popular jazz - Jools Holland, Nina Simone, etc. My reading is thrillers, crime, forensics and Housefic. TV is House, Stargate, Supernatural, 24. I enjoy piano playing (although I'm not good) and supporting the kids musical efforts (flute, guitar, keyboard).
My journal is a diary and friend, and may well remain private until I gain more confidence and start finding some LJ friends.
