We've just dropped the girls off on their Guide holiday - three days of freedom! Well, actually, three days to re-arrange the girls' bedroom. We're separating the bunks and making the room more teen-friendly with new bedding and accessories. A lot of the toys are going too - I figure if they haven't played with something for three years they won't miss it. We'll see.

Whilst eating my breakfast this morning with the kids TV on in the background, my ears tuned in to the voice of SF; he was obviously a special guest voice on the cartoon "Secret Show", although he didn't appear in the credits. I've noticed this in the past - I'll be completely ignoring the TV but when the Johnsons advert comes on my ears will prick up to the sound of HL and I get this dumb grin plastered on my face. I haven't been this much of a fangirl since "The Professionals" back in the 70's - must be my mid-life crisis!

It's that time of year again. Looked back at last years resolutions to discover I have made some progress with time management, so I don't feel a complete failure. On the other hand, I didn't plan to lose weight over the year so I seemed to have gained a stone and a half... sigh... Now I'm at my heaviest weight ever - even more than when I was pregnant - so making my life healthier is my one and only resolution for 2008.

Yay! My season 3 DVDs arrived yesterday. Amazon said they wouldn't be posted until 22nd so it was a lovely surprise. Oh those bloopers...just can't get enough of 'em.
